The Thompson Okanagan Housing Awards or TOMMIE™ Awards celebrated their 19th year of recognizing excellence in the many facets of the home building industry. A prized and valuable symbol of industry excellence, the awards are highly coveted and a glowing reference to the businesses that obtain them. It is the homebuilders Olympics! The awards are not just housing based, every aspect of the businesses are looked at from brochure and website design through to Landscape design and, of course, the homes themselves. This event is the finale of an awards journey that starts with the Silver Tommie nominations earlier in 2009.
