2008 November > Capt. JC Rathwell for Council

Captain JC Rathwell, owner of Executive Houseboat Charters is running for Council at the forthcoming elections. Here's what he has to say. "... I don't claim to have all the answers, and I don't know it all, but one of my greatest strengths is the ability to listen. Listening will help guide and assist me in working with the other City Councillors in order to determine what is not only the best for the City of Kelowna but also the right action to take ..." JC believes that he lives in the best city in the world and wants to be a contributing factor in Kelowna's growth and future. JC plans to follow in his Grandfather's footsteps and be Mayor some day. As a descendant of Abraham Lincoln, he feels he is on the right track to fulfill his dream, and that his best work is still in front of him.
