2008 November > Pandosy Ladies Aid Women's Shelter

The downtown end of Pandosy has been gathering steam as a boutique shopping destination over the summer. New stores abound. She Couture, A Woodside Design, Fresh, Blackfish Apparel and Olive & Elle. Notice the trend? All stores mentioned are owned by business women. They joined forces with other female owned businesses in a fund raising event for the Kelowna Women's Shelter with each store featuring special discounts and donation ideas. Ladies looking for a complete browsing experience shouldn't miss out on this sector of the city. Further proof of the evolution of Downtown and a bastion of the independently owned shopping experience (not shown in the images are Scruples Hair Design and Blackfish Apparel who both helped promote the Women's Shelter through this event)
