2008 November > Bras across the Bridge

With a number of jokes regarding 'support for the bridge' floating around we thought we'd avoid the puns, rather than keep abreast of the humour. We had a few things that wanted to get off our chest as we bounced over to meet the Silk and Sun FM crew to milk them for information about why, exactly, they were stringing brassieres (not just one row, but three!) across the new bridge so early in the morning. The event was last held in 2002 but a renewed interest in used / new underwear collection at various points throughout the city meant that the CIBC Run for the Cure charity would be receiving a fair amount of media interest and public awareness which has to be a good thing.
