2008 November > Walk and Roll Car Free Day

The purpose of Walk and Roll Car Free Day is to celebrate International Car Free Day and to promote clean air, safe streets and the many healthy transportation choices available. Due to growth and it's popularity, this annual family event was moved downtown to the sails for the first time this year. Lot's of free entertainment, Bike Trials, Bike and Skateboard Demo's, children inflatable play stations, environmental activity stations, face painting and a great street festival. With a little practice, ok maybe a lot of practice, it's absolutely amazing what can be done on a bike or skateboard!
